Free Solar Pty Ltd accepts no responsibilty for roofing tiles that crack during installation, customers with tiled roofs should ensure that they have 4 spare roof tiles on hand when the installation occurrs. This way the installers can replace any cracked tiles with the spare whilst they are onsite. About 25% of tiled roof installations result in at least 1 cracked roof tile. Many of these occur simply from walking on old tiled roofs. Please have spare tiles available on the day, otherwise your install may be postponed. 

6. During the installation it is unavoidable for small aluminium filings and debris to end up on the roof and gutter. If you have a water tank connected to your roof please switch it to "DIVERT" for the first couple of times that it rains to flush any filings/debris from the gutters, prior to filling your water tanks. Free Solar accepts no responsibility for removing these small aluminium filings and debris from roofs, gutters or tanks. 

7. A cancellation fee equal to the security deposit applies for any customer cancelled orders.

8. Cancellations of existing, rebate approved customers, will only be accepted and deposit refunded in full, if the customer is moving house or selling the property. Documentary evidence is required.

9. For emergency Solar Hot Water installations (ie. your existing electric system blows and you need an emergency install) a surcharge of $150 applies.

10. The solar hot water out of pocket cost to the customer will be $1969 with the customer paying $2969 upfront and then claiming $1000 back through Medicare. The price also takes into account customers assigning 100% of the RECs to Free Solar Pty Ltd. The price of the 400L solar hotwater system is for straight replacement of an existing electric hotwater system, in the same location. If the tank for the solar hot water system is to be relocated, then a surcharge will apply. The surcharge will be based on the additional labour and materials costs associated with the relocation of the tank and pipes. This standard price includes all materials that would be used in a standard lowset house and the majority of highset houses. However if long copper runs are required (i.e. collectors not located on roof adjacent to tank), Free Solar Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge for any extra materials or labour that may be required.    

11. Free Solar Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel any registration and refund the security deposit.

12. If an existing pre-approved $8000 rebate customer (but not installed yet) wants to upgrade to a 3 kw Inverter system, then their pre-approval expiry date must be after to April 2nd 2010.
